We Need A Little Christmas by the Golddiggers

Besides looking for new artists and new christmas music, I love the old stuff. Remember The Golddiggers? They started out as regulars on the Dean Martin Show in 1965, providing a little T&A for the dry martini crowd. They were more eye candy than ear candy, nerver the less enjoy!

Pam Pierce

I'm always on the lookout for new artists and new christmas music to add to my collection. I found an incredible singer named Pam Pierce. Her voice is amazing and the arrangements of her christmas songs are top notch. Here are a couple of clips from her Christmas Special. Enjoy!

You Are On Notice

I try not too get to political, but since this blog is about the sights and sounds of my life, imagine my disgust after seeing the stunt that Matt Bartle pulled, this guy is a joke. I am ashamed that he represents my district. He is about as stupid as George W.(sorry Laz). Here are some of the details.

Senate filubuster features food, fitness, stem cells
State Sen. Matt Bartle's filibuster against the appointment of Kansas City exeuctive Warren Erdman's to the University of Missouri governing board has taken some tedious turns today.

Bartle, a Lee's Summit Republican, has weaved among weight lifting and fitness, favorite restaurants in Columbia and Jefferson City, Big 12 football and major league baseball. At one point, Bartle referred to Joe Torre as the Cardinals first baseman.

Sen. Chris Koster, a Harrisonville Republican whose father was a St. Louis sportswriter, quickly returned to the floor to challenge that assertion. He pointed out that Torre was a long-time third baseman for the Cardinals. But Sen. Tim Green, a St. Louis County Demcrat, handed Bartle a note saying that Torre, indeed, played first base his final year.

Most recently, he was discussing the need to eat and drink regularly. He noted that his body was realizing that he had not had anything to drink anything for some time and was making adjustments. He has not risked drinking because it might cause him to need to leave the floor to urinate. If he gave up the floor, other senators could call for a vote on the appointment of Erdman and others now pending.

In an attempt to hasten such an event, other senators have sent a half dozen cupst of coffee and water, which are now stacked up untouched on Bartle's desk.

My other pet peeves. Matt B our bozo governor. I can not wait till we get a real govenor for Missouri, Jay Nixon.

Geoge W. what else can I say !

Icicle Lights. As much christmas stuff as I have, how come I can put all my stuff away in a weekend, but some people leave their icicle lights on their house till May?

KCTV- When will people revolt and turn them off. They are biggest offenders of ethical journalism I have ever seen.

Aren't you tired of all the weather promos??

American Idol prooves that people will tune in to see a jerk insult people.

Check this guy out!!

One of the things I wanted to do with this blog was to enlighten people to the sights and sounds of my world but also the sights and sounds of other people's worlds. I have always been on the lookout for new artists, new video and other things that can expand one's mind to what is possible in this world. If you have ever heard of Michael Hedges this guy reminds me of him. You should check him out. His name is Andy Mckee. You can go to his website at http://www.andymckee.com/ He truly knows how to use the guitar as a whole instrument and he is a Kansas guy.

Happy New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my friends and family. Did anyone watch "Rockin' with Dick Clark" last night? I know the guys in his 80's and suffered a stroke, but come on Dick that was painful to watch. It was very difficult watching and hearing him talk. I know he has gone through alot and has made progress since his stroke, but I would rather remember him as the smooth talking VJ than a mumbling man trying to put his ego in the limelight.

I hope that all my friends and family will have a great year. My hope is for Health, Love and prosperity.

Love and Peace to you all,
Greg
