Greg's Swank Pad Lounge Vol. 2 Is Ready

Greg's Swank Pad Vol. 2 complilation is ready for your listening pleasure. I have compiled a bunch of songs that represent some of the hip n' cool sounds of 60's with an emphasis on space age pop. Special thanks go out to Ultra Swank for some great music. A big thank you to all the lounge lizards who help preserve this music. It's fun, It's hip and it reminds me of the music I heard my parents play as I was growing up. So grab a martini, sit back and relax to Greg's Swank Pad Volume 2.

My new header from the great artist "The Blue Hipster"

Hey everyone! I want to introduce you to a great artist that I discovered on the internet, the "BlueHipster." Bert from the Netherlands, does incredible work in the genre of Hip n' Cool. Check out his website here:

What a great guy and professional to deal with. I have always wanted my own custom artwork done and here it is. Bert did a great job of capturing my love for lounge music, Hi-Fi, Drumming, Christmas and of course Ceasar my cat. What better way to spend an evening than sipping on some fine french cognac, listening to sinatra and relaxing in a hip chair.

So grab a cocktail, put on some tunes and realx yourself. Isn't time you had some fun????

Christmas In July

Since it's christmas in july which is alittle more than half way to christmas, what better way to celebrate than to listen to some great christmas music. Here is a favorite of mine that was first introduced to me over at Kelly's Lounge

Connie Francis is one of my favorites. Kelly said "it's nice to be able to blog her Christmas album "Christmas In My Heart" at this time. It was recorded at the famous Abbey Road studio in London. It's worth reading her liner notes. With Geoff Love's arrangements she managed to inject an almost mystical quality into some of these songs, especially the religious ones. This album inspires me. The only song not on the original LP is "Baby's First Christmas" (track 2). However it blends in pretty well with the disc as a whole. Don Costa does the backing on this one".
Tracks:
01) White Christmas
02) Baby's First Christmas
03) Winter Wonderland
04) Christmas Song
05) I'll Be Home For Christmas
06) The Twelve Days Of Christmas
07) Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
08) Adeste Fidelis
09) The Lord's Prayer
10) Silent Night
11) O Little Town Of Bethlehem
12) The First Noel
13) Ave Maria

Happy Independence Day!!

Well Happy July 4th Everyone. I hope you have a great and safe fourth. Don't blow off any fingers. A couple of notes. It's Christmas In July this month so I will be adding a album to download for your listening pleasure. Also stay tuned for some cool artwork that I am in the process of having done for my header to this blog. My blog's title will be changed but not the address to get to it.

BTW, with Farrah Fawcett's recent passing it reminded me of another bombshell who graced many a poster in the 60's and 70's. Rachel was always my favorite. ENJOY and stay tuned!
